Finally having some time to catch-up on my blog about my 30 day Rocky Mountain Road Tour. I have met some amazing people in Colorado and very thankful that I have this opportunity to travel to different cities to paint. On March 11th and 12th I made my last stop in the Vail area at the Westin Hotel before I headed to Colorado Springs. Let me say one thing - the staff at the Westin is awesome! I could have stayed there 3 more days to just hang with such great people. While I was painting there were 2 guys playing jazz music and this made me enjoy painting even more. Thank you Tony and Brian for being a rockin' jazz duo!
I spent a couple of days in Avon, CO and stumbled upon a local's coffee shop and bar called Loaded Joe's. This place is so unique serving coffee, lattes and breakfast in the morning and then at night they have great entertainment. Let me say this - they have a great happy hour and I met some really neat people there. I ended up doing a show during their BINGO night and another show on their Trivia night. A long time local that had been going to Loaded Joe's Bingo won my painting and it was awesome to give away a painting to such a persistent and appreciative person. Great times with great people.
